March 19th and 20th 2022
Fayetteville Town Center
We've done our waiting... 2 years of it... in AZKA-- No, wait, that's not it! After rescheduling our event in 2020, we're finally happy to announce we will be bringing back to our fan convention inspired by our love of worlds of wizardry and the boy who lived for the 3rd time! It's Fayetteville's award winning festival of all things wizards, witches, magic, and magical beasts! (Formerly dubbed DiaCON Alley of the Ozarks). Our goal each year is to donate to a local nonprofit or public service in line with our beliefs on community, inclusion, diversity, literacy, and youth issues. This year's festival will benefit Asbell Elementary. For the safety of our guests, we be following all precautions recommended by the CDC concerning the COVID-19 pandemic during the event. We also ask that if you are not fully vaccinated that you please wear a face mask during the event., for the courtesy of others. We don't need any visits to the hospital wing. Our festival will be held once again at the Fayetteville Town Center, covering two days, with different programming each day. Tickets are limited for each day for the safety and comfort of our guests. Day of, ticket prices will go up, so we encourage you to purchase earlier if you can. Costume wearing IS ENCOURAGED but not required. Some examples of what magic you will find during this weekend:- A merchant alley containing our weird and wonderful artisans, displaying wares of all kinds- Booths from community organizations with activities - Entrancing shows, walk around characters, entertainers, and animals to awe and delight- Panels for discussion of our favorite wizard-y subjects- Many magical foods and beverages all around and outside the event - you know butterscotch beer will be there- Lots of other activities to keep you entertained! Hotel Information: The Graduate Fayetteville is the closest hotel to the Fayetteville Town Center (and in walking distance) and there are rooms available to reserve. If you need an alternative and you have access to a car, there are more affordable hotels closer to 49 and MLK (Such as the Hampton Inn, Staybridge Suites, Candlewood Suites, and others). Regretfully, we do not have any specific discounts or blocks with the Graduate like we did when it was previously known as the Chancellor.
